We all love to save money online, right?? My friends & family say that I always find the best deals, so I want to share my tips with you!
1. Honey
This is #1 for a reason! This browser extension changes the GAME when searching for promo/discount codes online. I use it to Google the stores & “promo codes” every time I shop online — even if it was a 10% discount. Gone are the days of spending so much time on other sites that almost always list invalid codes. Honey does ALL of that for you within seconds. It will search the entire internet for the best deals while you’re checking out – download this browser extension and watch all of the $$ you save! They also will reward you with points where you can receive free gift cards to stores such as Target & Sephora.

2. Sign up for the promotional emails
I know I know, these get annoying BUT luckily if you have gmail like me emails are separated into inbox and promotions, so most of these sale emails go into a separate tab. If I’m interested in a brand & want to be notified of upcoming sales, I always sign up on their email list. That way I always get first notice as the sales drop and can grab items before they sell out!
3. Keep an Eye Out and Plan for Annual Sales
We all know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but what about the others?! YES, there are others! If you have big (expensive) purchases that you want to make, check out what sales are coming up in order to plan ahead of time. Make a list of items you want to buy & do your research on the best times to purchase.
Some to look out for:
- Fourth of July
- Amazon Prime Day
- Aliexpress 11.11
- Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Sale
- Labor Day
- Super Saturday
- New Year’s Eve
- Black Friday
- Cyber Monday
4. Leave it in Your Cart
If you’re not sure about the item(s) in your cart and want to come back later, leave them in your cart (suggest creating a login so you don’t lose them). Oftentimes, the brand will send an email like “I see you have some items in your cart” and offer a discount or promotion for purchasing within a certain amount of time. This is just an extra incentive to click the “buy now” button for a product you were already planning on buying 😉
5. Get Cash Back
Free money for buying things online – sounds like a great deal to me! Ebates allows you to shop through their website to earn cash back and you will get paid out every few months! More $$ to add to the online shopping fund.
