Brands are also now working with influencers with a smaller following who have strong engagement with their followers. You do not need 10k followers to work with big brands & receive long-term partnership deals. You just need to know how to pitch yourself!
This is one of the most important focuses when it comes to landing sponsorships. Your feed is your storefront & will very quickly tell a brand if you’re a good match. Make sure your content is clean, consistent and tells a story plus gives a good idea of your personal brand & audience.
Content
If you are going to be reaching out to big brands or PR/Marketing companies, you need to make sure you have a media kit on hand. This will be attached to your email & give them an idea of your content, audience demographics & engagement. Think of it as a resume!
Media Kit
Make a list of dream brands that you want to work with. Categorize them by health, fashion, fitness, beauty, etc. and make sure that their products/services and branding meshes well with your personal brand and audience.
List
Create an email that will quickly grab the attention of those reading it. Give a brief introduction to you, why you think you’d be a good match, what you love about their brand and your idea for the collab (ex: TikTok video showcasing Spring dresses). End with ‘look forward to hearing from you’ & check them off of your list.
