Simple ways to boost your productivity

1.

Time out your tasks

Whether you need a “time blocking” tool for work or set a timer on your phone for daily tasks, it’s important to set times as well as breaks. Complete task, 5 min. Break and then on to the next one.

2.

Write down daily to-dos

You can use a daily to-do notepad, post-it notes, phone/laptop notes, apps, etc. to write down your daily tasks. It’s best to check a box or cross off each task on a piece of paper once it is complete. Allows you to focus on one important task at a time & move on from there.

3.

implement the 5 second rule

Just do it! When you know you have something to do start the 5 second countdown and at 1, you get up and go. This will keep you from procrastinating & allow yourself more time to enjoy your timed breaks without feeling guilty.

Wake up 30 min earlier

We can ALL wake up a little earlier, and you’d be surprised at how much of a difference 30 minutes can make in your day even if this is just your time to sip on your coffee & enjoy your self-care morning routine.

5.

Eliminate all distractions

It’s VERY easy to get distracted in today’s world with Netflix, iPhones, TikTok, YouTube… so shut down the apps and close the multiple browsers, so that you only focus on one task at a time.
