Gluten Free Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup sugar ½ cup butter, softened 1 large egg  1 tablespoon water or milk 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional) ½ teaspoon xanthan gum  2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour  Sprinkles & Hershey Kisses

In a large bowl, cream the sugar and butter at medium speed.

Step 1

Add the egg, water, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Blend until mixed well.

Step 2

Add the xanthan gum (if using) and flour. Mix at a low speed until well combined.

Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside. Put dough in fridge for 1 hour.

Roll balls of cookie dough in sprinkles of choice and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 min.

Step 5

Add Hershey Kiss on top and let sit for 20-30 min. Enjoy!
